  13. I've just purchased a USrobotics Sportster Vi 28.8 Modem. I have some
  14. serious problem to set up my Personal Voice Mail. I am using the
  15. software which came with the mode- QuickLink Message Center.

  17. Here is how I want it to work like:

  19. 1. A "Please Hold" msg to be played for a couple, so I have a chance
  20. to pick up the phone if I KNOW it's a voicecall.
  21. 2. A welcome message
  22. 3. Different options - I have problems with these: 
  23. -Page Operator - If the user press 0 a wavefile will be playes to let
  24. the caller check if I am at home. If I am I can pick up the     phone.
  25. -Record Message - If the user press 2, he or she can leave a message.

  27. Right know I have the default setting of the mailbox turned to "Replay
  28. menu option", but then the mailbox just replays my greeting. The
  29. caller never gets a chance choose an option - 1,2,3,4 etc on the phone
  30. for Page me, Leave an message etc.

  32. If I turn the default setting to "Record a message", the system plays
  33. the greeting and then let the caller leave a message. Again, the
  34. caller doesn't get the opportunity to choose 1,2,3 etc.

  36. Some other things I am wondering about:

  38. Is it not possible to let the system answer on both voice, fax and
  39. data. In the settings I can only choose voice-fax, data-fax, fax only
  40. etc byt not all three.

  42. Anyone out there who can help me with my problem or recommend another
  43. software for this. If anyone know there to get prerecorded messages in
  44. Swedish I would also be glad I you let me know.
